We are delighted to announce the establishment of SOKEN INDIA Private Limited in 2025, marking a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to the Indian market.
Further strengthening our presence, in March 2026 we acquired a manufacturing site at ORIGINS by Mahindra, a world-class industrial park in Tamil Nadu developed jointly by the Mahindra Group and Sumitomo Corporation. This strategic investment reflects our confidence in India’s dynamic economy and its rapidly growing infrastructure, construction, and industrial sectors.
India is one of the world’s most promising growth markets, and SOKEN is committed to contributing to its development by bringing together Japanese engineering excellence, uncompromising quality standards, and the extensive operational experience we have built across Asia, including Thailand.
Our primary focus will be on the manufacturing, sales, and leasing of high-quality temporary construction equipment, including scaffolding. At the same time, we will explore new business opportunities, such as our non-electric shower toilet seat business and other innovative solutions, to address the evolving needs of the Indian market.

この度、2025年にインドに現地法人『SOKEN INDIA Private Limited』を設立いたしました。また、2026年3月にインド南東部タミル・ナードゥ州に位置する、インド大手マヒンドラグループ様と住友商事様が共同で運営されている工業団地『ORIGINS by Mahindra』の事業用地を取得いたしました。
今後も高い経済成長が期待でき、また土木・建築市場のさらなる発展が見込まれるインドにおいて、日本で築いた技術・品質を基盤にタイをはじめとするアジア各国で長年培ってきた対応力を活かしてまいります。
足場などの各種仮設機材の製作・販売・リースを軸に、シャワートイレ便座事業など新事業にも取り組み、複合的な事業展開を通じてインドでも『SOKENだから、できること』に挑戦し続けます。
